Hubungan Beban Kerja Terhadap Tingkat Burnout Perawat Pasien Kemoterapi di Rumah Sakit Panti Nirmala Malang

Abstract

Burnout syndrome is a collection of physical, psychological and mental symptoms that are destructive in nature as a result of work fatigue which is monotonous and depressing. Nurse workload is all activities or activities performed by a nurse while serving in a nursing service unit. Excessive workload physically and mentally becomes a source of stress at work. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between workload and burnout level of nurses. The method used in this research is correlation study method with cross sectional approach, with the sampling technique used is purposive sampling of 38 respondents. The population in this study were all nurses in the Santa Marta and St. Magdalena Panti Nirmala Hospital Malang. The research instrument used a workload questionnaire and the MBI (Masclach Burnout Inventor) questionnaire instrument. Data analysis used Spearman's rho test with a confidence level of 95% (α = 0.05) The results showed that the workload of chemotherapy patient nurses at Panti Nirmala Hospital Malang was in the high category of 95% and 5% moderate, the burnout rate of nurses was 58% and medium 42% with a p-value of 0.022. The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between workload and burnout level of chemotherapy patient nurses at Panti Nirmala Hospital Malang.
