PERBANDINGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU PKK TENTANG DENGUE HAEMORAGIC FEVER (DHF) SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PENYULUHAN DENGAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL DI GAGAKASINAN, DESA SUMBERPASIR, MALANG

Abstract

Abstract : Health counseling is one of the way to improve someone knowledge with the aim of changing or influencing human behavior in preventing a disease. Increased knowledge be able to occur if it is supported by good methods and media. One of the methods used in this study is audio visual media. The objective of this study is to know thw differance of knowledge level of PKK mothers about Dengue Haemoragic Fever (DHF) before and after counseling with audio visual media. This study used was pre eksperiment with one group pre-post test design. The population of this study was all of PKK mothers as many as 50 respondents. The samples of the study were taken by using a purposive sampling technique. The data of the study were gathered by using questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using wilcoxon match pairs test. The result of the study that was conducted before health counseling was mostly had adequate knowledge as many as 16 respondents (53%) and after the health counseling was conducted as many  as 27 respondents (90 %) had good knowledge. Data gathered was analyzed by using wilcoxon match pairs test in which obtained count P value was 0.000<0.025 which was indicated that H1 was accepted which means there significant difference in knowledge level of PKK mothers about Dengue Haemoragic Fever (DHF) before and after counseling with audio visual media in RW 07 / RT 22 Dusun Gagakasinan, Sumberpasir Village, Pakis.
