PENGARUH HIDROTERAPI RENDAM KAKI DENGAN AIR HANGAT TERHADAP TINGKAT TEKANAN DARAH PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI PRIMER DI RW 03 GUNUNG CENENG KELURAHAN TUREN

Abstract

ABSTRACT hypertension happened to blood pressure of 140 / 90 mmhg up. Hypertension divided into two namely, therapy pharmacological and non pharmacological, one treatment nonpharmacologic with warm water hydrotherapy. Method: this research was using pre experiment with the approach of one-group pre-post test. The population was all of 50 primary hypertension respondents, and sample of 44 respondents. Sampling technique that was used was purposive sampling. Data collection was using sheets of observation and was analyzed by using t-test paired test with 5 percent level. The results: before it was given the hydrotherapy, hypertension respondents were majority in state of light hypertension, having given hydrotherapy the changes became in state of good blood pressure. The statistics analysis used the paired t-test obtained p = 0,000. It meant that any impact of soak feet hydrotherapy with warm water on high blood pressure a primary in Gunung Ceneng Turen Village RW 03. Conclusion: there was an effect of hydrotherapy soak feet with warm water on the level of primary high blood pressure in Gunung Ceneng Turen Village RW 03. Advice: to lower the levels of high blood pressure in nonpharmacologic primary respondents in soak feet therapy was conducted independently by using warm water regularly. The next researchers were expected to conduct the factors which gave infuence the level of blood pressure. Keyword: hypertension, primary hypertension, hydrotherapy, foot soak with warm water
